Grief happens to us all. Time is a good healer.
When we love, death challenges our well-being. Whether a person dies from a chronic illness or a sudden tragedy, we can have a hard time facing grief. The emotional depths and expressions of our grief challenge our emotional and spiritual health. The emotions vary from anger, agony, and anxiety to depression, sadness, and paralysis. Love or fear shape our relationships, including when someone dies.
We know death is inevitable, but that fact does not minimize the pain. We cannot rush or erase grief. The experience and the healing take time. There is hope.
